The Tanzanian Community Association - Midwest USA is a
Not For Profit (NFP) association incorporated
in the state of Illinois, USA since 6th November 2002. The
Association’s main objective is to mobilize and unite Tanzania's in the Midwest - USA and elsewhere in the world, and all friends of Tanzania with a common
purpose of addressing the cultural, economic, educational, immigration, health,
scientific, and social needs of community members.
The Association seek to develop programs and affiliations
with state, federal, and international organizations and agencies to further
the understanding of the Tanzanian cultures, issues, and its people. It will develop
programs that help the advancement of Tanzanians in the Midwest USA and
elsewhere in the world. The association will also endeavor to provide
information to the Tanzanian Community Association - Midwest USA, NFP and elsewhere
concerning education, economics, health, culture, science and technology,
immigration, women's and children issues, and bilateral relationships, all with
the goal of promoting their common welfare and well being.
TCA will achieve its goals:

Through scheduled association and community activities
throughout the year

By encouraging and supporting its members to engage in
activities that promote their own welfare such as book drives, educational
forums investment clubs, immigration forums, economic activities etc.

By acting as a medium for the dissemination and sharing of
information and ideas on all relevant subjects through meetings, forums, its
newsletter and electronic chat rooms.

And through active educational, scientific and cultural
campaigns.
